I looked up AAC has (or had) a $2.5MM entrance fee. Do they make the schools pay that before official entrance or do they just take some amount off distributions for a term until paid?

Who cares, if it's only $2.5 million?

I believe NMSU is doing a deferment of conference distributions to pay their entrance fee. I’d imagine the AAC6 are doing the same.

What I hope for this conference that Charlotte helped birth moving forward is that the teams become competitive, that the conference finds good leadership soon, and that you guys find more money and exposure to make it all worth it.

Exactly and the AAC is still light years ahead of the G4 and ahead of a few so called P5 conferences as well. Markets and academics are all that matters in college athletics. The AAC is hottest conference in town now.
