Should’ve stayed together. That quadrant basically carried Big East FB from 2005-2012 and interests in the matchups involving the four programs began to grow. Oh well….

I heard the news about expansion happening again yesterday. I think Pitt is going to be left out this time and I don't think Pitt will even be close to alone on that. It's a shame.

I am not happy about it, but honestly to me college football was already getting difficult to stomach. I was happy to watch when you could at least tell yourself that there was a chance your team could have a magical season and compete for a title. Then the day came that it ended, roughly with the advent of the absurd 4 team playoff.

To me, though, college football was ruined/ended the day that Brian Kelly left ND for LSU during the season when there was still an outside chance that ND team could compete for a national title. The veil was just completed lifted at that time and the whole thing was ruined for me. Now we have the NIL issues as well that just show the whole game is about money.
