Nah, not me. I want the Pac10 to poach the top B12 schools, leaving WVU in a conference with nothing but former CUSA schools. I think there is close to a zero percent chance they get into either of the new P2 conferences, SEC or B10. Most likely destination is an ACC after all the top programs get poached by the said P2 conferences. But until that happens I'd love to see them mucking with the pigs in either a B12 with like only Baylor, Kansas State and the rest CUSA/AAC call ups or having to join the AAC itself as nothing is left in the B12. Basically I support whatever is the worst for WVU.

As long as they aren't in any position to put a ceiling on us. I''d like to see them in the SBC and grateful to us. That would be outstanding. They have soccer here already. The AAC probably has hard feelings. The state would have to look at money saved and they would have to play us yearly in football and twice in basketball. Any turn of events that caused that scenario would be right at the top of my list. And we could watch that game for a can of creamed corn. No one is paying for a ticket to watch WVU play Texas State when they used to watch them play Texas. Could you imagine the looks on their toothless hick faces when they found out they were in the same conference as Marshall and we fought to get them here. Priceless.

The Walmart fans wouldn't know what to think. Remember when they got all bent out of shape because they were joining our conference in soccer? The idiots thought their entire Athletic Department was joining.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least bit if in the next 5-10 years that WVU, Cincinnati, UCF, and a few AAC/C-USA schools wind up in an absolutely diluted ACC once it's been picked over by the SEC and Big 10.

There are probably 10 or 15 currently P5 programs that aren't going to make the cut into the new order because of geography, market size, or academics. WVU doesn't really have any of those things going for it. The thought of WVU playing Charlotte or FAU in a version of the ACC that's been relegated to mid-major status is absolutely hysterical.

We'll probably get knocked down a peg in that scenario too but at least we have a home to ride out the impending storm.

He's not wrong about that. The Big 12 made absolutely zero sense for WVU outside of being safe landing spot from an imploding Big East. In theory, things will be slightly better with Cincinnati and UCF in their division but I'm sure a lot of fans will see those opponents as beneath them.

Those complaints were all very relatable with C-USA. Outside of Southern Miss and maybe WKU, there wasn't a single opponent that I cared about.

I didn't even care about WKU. Heck they moved UAB and SoMiss to the West and stuck us will the noobies. Nobody cared about playing those schools.

What that guy doesn't understand is the Big East schools that left considered them trash and didn't want to play them anymore. They were tired of going there and getting abused by entitled, out of state students. Miami, VT, BC, Syr., Pitt. They want nothing to do with WVU. Louisville has passed them. Cincy will be their peer again with a better city and team. Nobody wants the drunken party school of the 80s around anymore. They've been a national embarrassment for years. Not to mention their hires. Chuggins and Horsewoman....really?
