I posted this on another board but to say Cincinnati is overrated at #22 in the Coaches Poll is a bit laughable. Oh well. I actually think our preseason ranking is where we should be due to all the player losses after last season - 9 to the NFL Draft. We'll have to prove how good we can be and earn our way higher beginning week one on the road at Arky. Good times.

Hey, 4-out-of-5 isn't that bad. Just because they misspelled "HOUSTON," they still were 80% correct.

I was listening to a Phil Steele podcast by UCF. He pumped up ECU as a real dark horse in the AAC and after last year, I have to wonder how far the Pirates will go this year.

AP Preseason Poll has Cincinnati 23 and Houston 24. Again...it's a wide open conference (at least among the 3 departing teams) with no clear favorite.

3/4 newcomers to b12 ranked in top 25 with UCF also seeing votes and potential this year to be ranked as well Could end up with 6 future b12 teams ranked at some point this season maybe 7 if tcu or Texas tech are decent

They've got a solid shot at the Sweet 16, and possibly an Elite 8 run.

We have a good chance to be 6-1 heading into the UCF game. If we can beat UCF (which I think would be a toss up) then I think the title game is a real possibility. We should be favored in 6 of our first 7 games but things can quickly go astray so I wouldn't count on it.

Texas and USC overrated. Texas starts top 25 every year and has blown it early in the last like 7 seasons it seems.
