Purdue-Illinois likely is a big battle in the Big Ten West but will it get the viewership or potential viewership of Ohio State, Michigan, or Penn State? Penn State is now pretty much out of the Big Ten race so their value has declined although Maryland is having a good season. Nebraska always has good brand value but they lost their starting QB and their backup looked terrible vs. Illinois so Nebraska at Michigan, especially at Michigan, could be blowout city. Indiana at Ohio State, especially in Columbus, looks like blowout city. The Big Ten really should have saved one of its Penn State Big Three battles (Ohio State or Michigan) for November. Next year, Penn State plays Michigan in November. It looks like both Ohio State and Michigan will sleepwalk to their showdown on Nov. 26 although Illinois at Michigan could be interesting (too bad the game will be in Ann Arbor).

Maybe Fox spins TCU at Texas as the Big noon or Kansas State at Baylor. This is just one of those weeks that doesn't look good game wise.

According to Matt's College Sports, the Big Ten is getting the Big Nooner.

Nov. 19 Games:

Ohio State at Maryland
Illinois at Michigan
Penn State at Rutgers
Iowa at Minnesota
Wisconsin at Nebraska
Northwestern at Purdue
Indiana at Michigan State

My prediction is ESPN/ABC will have the first pick (FOX has already picked first six times according to my guesstimates and it's obvious they have the first pick the last week). Illinois-Michigan looks like the better game at the time I write this, Ohio State-Maryland the #2 choice. Penn State owes a BTN game and Rutgers looks like the better choice than Michigan State the final week, especially after MSU won today.

Final Week:

Nov. 25:
Nebraska at Iowa, 4pm (BTN) - Already scheduled

Nov. 26:
Michigan at Ohio State, Big Nooner (FOX) - Already scheduled

Remaining Games:
Michigan State at Penn State
Minnesota at Wisconsin
Purdue at Indiana
Illinois at Northwestern
Rutgers at Maryland

Last year, PSU/MSU aired on ABC at 3:30pm and Wisc/Minn on FOX at 4pm. I wouldn't be surprised to see Penn State get another network game although Michigan State isn't as good as they were last year so that will hurt. If TCU is going for an undefeated regular season, they will likely draw interest.

The Big Ten was denied a 2nd network game rivalry week. Michigan State/Penn State has to settle for FS1 behind Iowa State/TCU on FOX as they are going for an undefeated season. Minnesota/Wisconsin is stuck on ESPN behind Oregon/Oregon State on ABC.
