Ouch. But not wrong. USF reminds me of UCF during our winless seasons. Painful. It might be more painful for USF though because your team/coach finds ways to give you hope only to destroy it every time.

Abysmal. No program should have to endure what USF fans have endured. I was called out on this board for being skeptical before the season... All the chatter about how great CJS was doing, changing culture, influx of talent... yada yada. All that confidence... All I said was, show me the money before I invest again. I need to SEE it to believe... because I hear this same story before EVERY season.

At this point it's pretty obvious, barring some miracle, we will have to reboot again with someone else... and yet again pay multiple coaches for multiple seasons.

You can't make this stuff up it's so bizarre. You put a rake in front of us, and we'll step on it and bash in our nose... But I am still optimistic that with the new OCS, and if we get the 'right' guy in for the reboot, in a few years we're a good program again. Praying I'm wrong and that CJS can salvage something now... but I don't see a shred of evidence to indicate that is even possible.

There are several DII Coaches who've rebuilt programs and went on to either win a championship or challenge for one. That is the route I want the Bulls to take. Get a guy who's hungry to prove himself and who may actually stick around after doing so.

IIRC, the first Holtz season was not too bad, resulting in beating Clemson in the bowl game. Then it came off the rails quickly after that. So not surprised CJS will blow past the 3 season loss tally...

Is USF getting to 6 wins this year? Was excited about the season ending matchup hosting UCF which could’ve been a last good middle finger for y’all, now I’m just scared to watch

I said 4-8 or 5-7 at best would be most likely at the start of season. I think 4-8 is best scenario at this point.

The ucf game who knows, we certainly didn’t have the talent they did last year and it went down to the wire, so who knows how the game would go by the end of season. In any case I’m pretty confident we will play them again in future, so this year might be last for awhile but not as long as some may think.
