Tech up 5-4 T7 against #4 Ole Miss in a weather delay. Need the game to restart though, if its called now Ole Miss would get the win because they were up 4-3 when the inning started. As of now game is set to restart at 7:45 CT, need to get it back going and the inning to conclude with the Dogs on top to get the conference another top 5 win. It's something like a 240+ RPI swing between a win and loss.

Apparently the field was deemed unplayable when they came back out. Probably because Ole Miss refused to tarp the field when they had the chance. I guess this time they didn't have the leave town because COVID card to pull to get out of the second game like they did in Ruston after losing the first game of that series.

Roadrunners beat UIW 2-1 tonight. Felt we got the benefit of a couple calls, but I'm relieved because it was our 6th game in 6 days, and our boys got back into San Antonio really late last night from Waco. The team just looked tired.

not like this is the first time Ole Miss did this to Tech. Back in '21 when Tech was opening the new stadium, OM came for two midweek games with Tech winning game 1, 13-1 and OM called off game 2 because of "COVID"

UTSA took 2 of 3 from Utah this weekend. Lost the opener 5-3, and won the next pair 11-5 and 14-3.

Tech sweeps Northwestern. Granted they are not good, but it’s a B1G scalp, so we’ll take it. If we can beat Arkansas, maybe we can get some confidence the rest of the season, after the win and steal by Ole Miss.

We're talking about the same Ole Miss that cancelled the last game or two last year for fear that winning or losing would've affected their chances at a Regional. Again there's nothing in the rules that say they couldn't do it.

Let me edit and add this.. While it's the rules, doesn't mean it's right nor I agree with.. If USM had been done like this I'd be none too happy about it either
