Mens Basketball Broadcast Schedule Announced
Looks like the networks wanted MT, LA Tech, UAB, and WKU the most, as they took the majority of the CBS Sports, ESPNU, and Stadium slots. Everyone else relegated to ESPN Plus. Surprised North Texas didn't get as many slots. Poor past viewership?

Just a poor TV deal. NT deserved some CBS games IMHO but not enough spots. The only bright spot is that if I didn't have season tickets I could sit at home and watch every one of our games on TV.

UNT's style of play doesn't lend itself to scintillating television unfortunately.

If teams were getting games on ESPN or ESPN2, instead of ESPN +, then that would be noteworthy. But having a game on the CBS Sports Network or Stadium instead of ESPN + means nothing to me.

The quality of a CBSSN or Stadium game is like night and day compared to espn+. And sometimes its even worse depending on which school is producing the game. And espn+ is mostly homers doing the play by play

The same goes for the talking heads doing play by play is better than espn or espn2 if you like talk about CUSA and not hearing about the Big 10, SEC or some other P5 conference for most of the game.

But I guess those don't mean anything to you

Usually Western would have another game or two aired by CBSSN but this year's home schedule is not very good at all. So no home OOC games

I'm looking forward to seeing UTEP's 1 game on espnu, 1 game on stadium, 1 ooc game on the lhn at Texas and 1 game on fs1 at DePaul. Other than that, I'll have to be content with espn+, but that's UTEP's own fault for not having a good enough product on the court. If the team is enough better this season, UTEP should get more air time next season.
