Quinnipiac coach Baker Dunleavy has become general manager of basketball at Villanova hence why he stepped down in Hamden.

Nicholls State also lost their head coach to be an assistant at Alabama.

I think it's interesting Villanova created an administrative position between the coach and the athletic director for the school's "top" program. Whereas Wright had a very close working relationship with the school's president and the athletic director.

But, with NIL and transferability/portal matters now integrated into these programs, there is just so much more paperwork to be done. Not just an interesting hire to bring in a former Villanova guy, but literally creating a position with more administrative responsibilities. I'm wondering if Villanova creates this position so that the coaches can stick to more coaching and recruiting and not all of the extra logistics and operations.

Point Loma head coach Matt Logie headed to Bozeman to take the Montana State job. Absolutely love this move for the Bobcats. Logie is a guy I thought Northridge would look at too. Won 29 games at Point Loma in D2 last year and really built up that program for the 4 seasons he was there. Before that won pretty much every year at Whitworth in D3 taking them to the NCAA d3 tournament all but one of those years.
