Well they're all going to pad their offensive stats. Defense not so much.

The 91 combined 1st Half points was 3 shy of the NCAA Div1/FBS record set by current member Navy and upcoming member North Texas in 2007. The 56 combined points in the 2nd Quarter was only 1 TD shy of the record for that (in the same NT/Navy game).

The record for an entire game is 137 set by Syracuse and Pitt in 2016 (NT-Navy had 136)

And yes, the Div 1/FBS qualifier removes the Ga Tech vs Cunberland "game".

I love the safety fist bumping after that play as if the other team doesn't have 56 points.

There are about 90 teams I would have guessed ahead of Navy that would have held that record.
