If just off of resume I may agree. Resume is not everything. Just ask yourself if these teams played on a neutral site right now who would you bet on?

I think I agree with ECU ahead of UCF due to head to head, despite the worse record. Now if Cincy beats them, I think ECU slides behind both UCF and Cincinnati.

Next weekend is huge for this season. UCF travels to Tulane and ECU travels to Cinci. One of the road teams will win, in my humble opinion (hoping that it's the Pirates).
Tulane opens as 1.5 point favorites while Cincy opens as 6 point favorites.

After watching ECU play UCF, you just can’t tell me the Knights are better, so:
Tulane
ECU
UCF
Cincy
Everyone else

This is my feeling. If it was close I'd be more willing to give ucf the benefit of the doubt as I don't like to overreact to a close head to head results particularly the road team loses.
But ecu looked much better. It's one bad ucf game but their overall results are close enough I'm putting ECU 2.

I predict UC beats ECU. UC has a strong home field advantage. Tulane probably beats UCF but expect a close game. We'll see how things go.

ECU has not played well at Nippert in more years than I can remember.

Agreed but this ECU team is as close to Cincy talent wise as we’ve been since at least 2014, and that game was a classic. This one should be as well.

Agreed but this ECU team is as close to Cincy talent wise as we’ve been since at least 2014, and that game was a classic. This one should be as well.
I'd argue our team is probably more purely talented (based on both natural progression and players being put in new positions) at 17/22 positions from last year's team, with the exception of quarterback (Ridder), free safety (Cook), both CBs (Gardner and Bryant), and RB (Ford). The problem is our situational coaching and utilizing that talent has left a lot to be desired this season so far. Can't speak to ECU's talent level at all though, so no real way to compare.
My Ranking based on how the teams are composed and playing at the moment:
1) Tulane
2) UCF (Keane is a much better QB than Plumlee, I do believe the ECU game would've gone a different direction had he been playing)
3) ECU
4) Cincinnati
5) SMU
6) Memphis
7) Houston
8) Navy
9) Tulsa
10) Temple
11) USF
