Houston is gonna be pretty decent this year

This league sucks even more than usual. Unlikely to be more than a 2-bid league. All the hype about Temple pre-season, and then a home loss to freakin’ Wagner?

Eh. Don't jump off the ledge too quickly. Houston is elite. Memphis looked good. Tulane looked good. Uc looked good (though I don't want to read too much into that game). Those are the 4 teams with ncaa tournament talent. Let's see how they do in the nonconference.

Homerishly ... WSU has looked better than i expected against well overmatched competition ... Talent is there if they can all gel.

Oklahoma lost to Sam Houston State
USC lost to Florida Gulf Coast
Cal lost to UC Davis
Marshall lost to Queens University playing their first D-I game
Cleveland State lost to D2 Notre Dame College
NIU lost to D2 Illinois Springfield
UMKC lost to D2 Lincoln

We're hardly the only ones who haven't figured it out yet.

Maybe Temple can join a conference with Wagner, Fairleigh Dickinson, Drexel and Muhlenberg?

temple has the talent and schedule to bounce back...

syracus/richmond

and have vcu and ole miss later in the season... they beat villanova this weekend, who cares about the wagner loss, loss to vill but win the next 3 ..still in great shape
....

but the individual teams (except usf) the loss is excusable.. the issue is just the total number for the conference we are the only major conference with more than 2 losses opening night.. we had 4 bad ones
