Maui used to be the premier early season tournament, along with the preseason NIT. Now that every city is hosting one these days they've lost their luster. But occasionally they'll still have a great field.

reasonable counters and conversation points you could have said

1. I actually think you are underselling zhuric as a shooter
2. i think nutall will score a ton more as the season goes on as he gets comfortable in his role
3. Efe Odigie was 1st team all-sunbelt doing, he's a proven center and has shown he is more than what he has shown
4. i truly think Samuell Williamson has more than he has shown
5. rob lanier is a young coach learning aswell, i think he will change the lineup to something more productive if this isn't working, maybe demoting smith and elevating todorvic or ricardo
