Not the only Wildcat Fan
wildcats66 Wrote:go northwestern, too bad im the only fan

I'm an NU Big Ten fan and an NIU Huskie MAC fan. NU had their first conference 2-0 start this season in 30 years and the NIU Huskies lead the MAC West so far. NU beat Seton Hall (Big East) on the road and NIU beat DePaul (2nd straight season) and Kansas St (Big 12). NU has a shot an an NIU bid and the Huskies have a great chance at winning the MAC and making the Big Dance! 04-chairshot 05-mafia 04-rock ;-)

Extremely proud of their performance this year with a 7-5 final record and a bowl appearance. Despite all the recruiting "experts" constantly picking NU #8 or lower, the Cats Big10 record the past 3 seasons is 14-10!

Outstanding for a small private school with high academic standards. NU will be returning more starters than anyother conference member next year, we had only 17 rides to award in 06. We did lose some great players (Basanez, McGarigle, Strief and Colefield) but lots of talent on this roster and a defense that will be improved. Watch for the Cats to finish in the top 3 in 06! 04-rock 05-mafia 04-bow

Big 10 did well again this year gaining 6 NCAA Tourney bids. No doubt having 3 teams reach the Elite Eight in last year's tourney played a part in securing 6 bids. Can't wait for the games to begin ;-) 04-rock

Ohio Bobcat grad, but root for Ohio State against the Big Ten, except when MAC plays them. Dad attended UM, Uncle played basketball for UM. Watch Big Ten games.
