I recognize this is a waste of my breath (or typing?) but if you read any of it you would know that while we did need a waiver, the Valpo game had 0 bearing on whether we went bowling or not.
End of the day, we will take the $1M payout (less after expenses, we know) and the 3 hour long commercial for NMSU and New Mexico as a whole.
Thanks for the well wishes, man!
GO AGGIES!!!

Isn’t Sam Houston State signing up for those same “participation trophies” starting next year? Seems like an odd way to try to slight NMSU.

Yea, and Sam Houston State is stupid for doing so. I criticize them for doing it, much like I do NMST for going bowling.

Way to go NMSU, Got the win in the bowl game to finish the year with a winning record. Also, congratulations on keeping your bowl record going. The Aggies haven't played in that many, five total, but have never lost a bowl game.

Congrats Aggies!!!!
First bowl win for Coach Kill, ever. This man has done an outstanding job along with the entire coaching staff to get this victory and a very good season. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for this program.

Great win for Coach and the Aggies. I really like that NM Sun on the helmets. Nice touch.
How in the world did I miss Sammy H getting banished? Such a nice guy with never a word of harsh criticism or personal attacks on others?!?!

The symbol on the helmet is actually the Zia Symbol made famous by Zia Pueblo, one of the many Pueblo tribes in New Mexico who have been in the region for over 2,000 years.

NMSU sure found a way to gel in the last half of the season. They looked dead in the water in October, but sure won some clutch games to get here. Congrats guys. Give CUSA hell in 2023.

Texan fans may remember the nickname of the Eastern New Mexico womens’ teams were the Zias and the men were called the Greyhounds. At the time, I believe they were the only NCAA university with different names for their teams. The women changed their name to the Greyhounds several years ago in respect to Native Americans.
