The Hornets roll into the DAC struggling at 1-9, their lone win against a non-D1 called Immaculata. They are coming off a brutal loss to another non-D1 called Georgian Court. Despite their record, we should not just look past this team. They have been jekyl and hyde in that they have either gotten absolutely blown out or they have stayed competitive and very little in between. So that means this game will either be a 30 point game or less than 10. Virginia Tech and UConn beat this team by 38 and 35. Villanova beat them by 10, Delaware beat them by only 9. Given that we project very similarly to Delaware, we would be best served to make sure we play well so we dont get upset.

They have 10 guys averaging double digit minutes and 9 of those are over 15 minutes a game. So they rotate a lot of players in and out. They dont have a single player averaging over 30 minutes a game. They do have a couple guys who play solid minutes at 6'11". So Amari may have some height issues to deal with. But he should be able to attack them and potentially put them in fouls trouble. We will need to shoot at least ok to win this one. If we shoot well, we should be able to blow them out. If we shoot like we did the first 30 minutes against Seton Hall, you can put us on upset alert.

It was nice for a chance to see the Dragons pounce on somebody. Delaware State is a bad team as Dan mentioned, but did play some good teams close. Nice to see House get the start and play so well. The outside shots were really falling in this one. Hopefully, they can continue their hot shooting at Fairfield.
