Man, that was rough....I had finally wrapped up some much-needed budgeting and was about to sit down and watch MNF because a) the game interested me and b) it had major fantasy implications for my 3rd place finish. Come into my room with MNF on and see the game was suspended because of a major medical emergency then wanting to see some sort of highlight of what I missed moments prior. The way the ESPN folks were talking.... I was doubting this return to play in 5m thing.... Then, when I saw that video above about what happened... yeah... too much there for players to remotely get back into competition mentally.

I do wonder how they'll make the game up though.

And Skip Bayless is getting ripped on twitter for his take.

What did Skip say? ;I don’t doubt it was stupid, just don’t know what he said). Didn’t see play live, but the replay seemed to show a textbook tackle. So it’s really scary what might have happened.

Saw report on ESPN.com that it was cardiac arrest.

Stumbled on video about the Bayless tweet. I AGREE with Skip and think the backlash is ridiculous.

He’s been medically cleared to resume playing. Hope he doesn’t come back.
