Told my 7th grade math students many years ago that if they all passed the state exam, I'd shave my head bald. They did. So I got my barber at the time (retired Navy vet) to come to the school, and we set up a chair in the middle of the gym. We got all the 7th graders to form a wide circle around us, and ran a long extension cord to an outlet, and he went to town. I let several of my students take turns in the process also.
