Altho I'm happy we will get a new coach and hopefully new excitement in the program, I do feel for Stanz. His health has been in grave shape this season, missing 9 games l, and even the games he coached, you could tell he was in bad shape. I wish him the best and a successful recovery from whatever he has been struggling with this year.
Now, back to all the ridiculous new coach speculation...the monitoring of flights, the stalking of the AD and potential coaches, etc. Haha
I felt Stanz was on his way out of the door after UNT cut down WKU in our regular season finally. His comments trashing the Frisco location only telegraphed his exit. Stanz had to win the tournament to save his job. WKU is a proud program, and should be able to find a solid coach.
