Baseball vs Monmouth
Big in-conference weekend series for the Tribe at Plumeri starting tomorrow.

Monmouth comes in 1-5 (9-10) in the CAA, losing 2 of 3 to UNCW and getting swept at current leader, Elon.

Good. My mind still hasn’t accepted losing yet to Monmouth. In anything.

Was a lot of it complicated by the high wind? It's no fun playing outfield on a day like today.

There was wind but the issue was that WM brought in a new pitcher to start that inning, he got injured pitching to his first batter (a walk), and thus WM was forced to quickly bring in another pitcher who had not had a chance to warm up properly and as a result the second pitcher couldn’t find any rhythm out there.

They could have had a couple other pitchers get loose when the guy got thrown to the wolves, but I guess McRae thought it was okay for Weidenger to take a beating for the team. He faced 13 batters.
