I suspect we’ll pay connected military contractors hundreds of billions “trying” to develop it. They will start from scratch by trying to reinvent the wheel (the most expensive option) and not simply try to start with and improve existing technology.

Then, after decades of failures, that company will have nothing to show for the tax payer money spent. Well, they’ll have the tax payer money. Nothing to do an EV military I mean.

It is important not leave carbon emissions in the atmosphere of the countries we dump depleted uranium shells on.

I find it hard to believe anyone with half a brain would propose ALL military vehicles be EVs. That's not even possible. Im guessing she is talking about the 170K nontactical vehicle fleet that the DoD maintains. I guess that could be done..but..I think even that is a pie in the sky idea that in the end fails miserably.

Won't work in a war zone. Tanker trucks that are EV would be idiotic. Logistics would need to stay oil based.

Not that long actually. You have the carriers headed for Pearl from San Diego follow the AOC train tracks and there are battle group charging stations every 50 nautical miles. They'll have underwater outlets for submarines. It's all thought out by really smart people like AOC. No worries.
