Why debate? Democrats have Super Delegates who basically decide their nominee.

Of course. The 37% percent that somehow "approves" of Biden's dismal performance actually exists. That 37% is made up of a wierd coalition of hard core Democrat true believers and Never Trumpers that intend to go down with the ship when it comes defending and rationalizing their vote for Biden.

The current president doesn't ever debate if they are going for reelection. Trump didn't. Bush didn't. Obama didn't.

Trump debated Biden* twice in 2020 - Tuesday, September 29, 2020 and Thursday, October 22. A third one set for October 16 was cancelled.

Obama debated Romney three times in 2012 - Wednesday October 3, Tuesday, October 16 and Monday, October 22.

Bush 2 debated Kerry three times in 2004 - Thursday, September 30, Friday, October 8, 2004, Wednesday, October 13, 2004.

Much of the earlier thread was talking about the parties nomination debates. Saying that Biden is hiding from them. I was saying no one debates if they are president for their parties nomination.

The issue will be if Biden pulls out of the presidential debate.
