Malcolm Britt was a bit of a surprise. Graduated early? Seems he barely played. I thought he was a high profile signing and looked for big things from him.

I'm assuming if you graduate with eligibility remaining you can enter portal? Is it likely to see any of these players do that?

Hate to lose Terry Jones.

Terry has eligibility remaining and I wouldn't be surprised to see him enter. Not sure what Malcolm will do, but injuries really hampered him here.

I just assumed "Graduating" also meant eligibility exhausted. Guess not. I was thinking it seems like Britt just got here. Hate to see him and Jones go with eligibility left.

I don't know why we call it Senior Day. Calling it Graduate Day would be more accurate. Tradition I guess.

Thanks, I updated the explanation of Graduating players to be more clear.

So is there a chance Terry Jones stays? Any reason why the DL EPPS has not been playing? Also I thought Xavier Black would be back.

From what I’ve been told, I would not expect Terry to stay. But there is always a chance.

Not sure why Brandt-Epps isn’t playing. Would assume injury but could possibly have just lost snaps due to a lack of productivity.

Would love to know as the transfer season progresses, how many players we lose due to NIL$$. Gotta believe Jones would fall into that category.

I hope our offers going out now are extending higher than D3 level players. Any player that comes from a lower level generally is a project player for D1 FBS. Not saying they cannot play at this level, but I am hopeful they at least have tremendous upside/are coachable.

Any chance we entertain a transfer QB who is coached by ol Brian Scott? He is currently up for the Walter Payton award this year?

Max Brosmer has gotten an offer from Minnesota, but he would thrive in this offense.

JMU offered guys that were D1 players. Some had P5 offers/G5 offers. They were also able to capitalize on their winning/national championship success.

We are sending a lot of offers out to JUCO/D3 players. This has been a common theme with our coaching staffs. It really makes me question the recruiting of this program. We have never had a top recruiting class in either conference we have been apart of in FBS. If you do not believe me, check the major recruiting sites like 24/7 and Scout.

It should be noted that NO, not one, JMU starter in 2023 is a P5 transfer, and only two are on the roster at all.

Anyone can enter the portal if they have eligibility remaining.

Britt seems like a no brainer. He graduated and could not get on the field and was passed by several linebackers. The dude 47 came in when Henderson went down so I think its clear.
