Shortly after learning that former President Donald J. Trump had been recorded discussing what appeared to be classified material describing military options for confronting Iran, federal prosecutors issued a subpoena to his lawyers seeking the return of all records that resembled the document he mentioned, two people familiar with the matter said on Friday.

But Mr. Trump’s legal team has informed the Justice Department that it was unable to find any such records in his possession, the people said. It is unclear whether prosecutors have been able to track down the document themselves, leaving open the possibility that the material remains at large or that the famously blustery Mr. Trump incorrectly described it on the recording.

The subpoena, which was issued in March, sought any and all records pertaining to Gen. Mark A. Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and to Iran, including maps or invasion plans, according to the people familiar with the matter.

Worse yet----its only an audio recording---so there isnt even the ability to claim it "looked" like a classified document. So, the DOJ---"heard" a recording that "appeared" to involve a classified document---and immediately assumed one exists (that apparently their SWAT team combing over Mar a Logo missed)----and swiftly demanded it be returned. Interesting how quickly the DOJ can swing into action on little or no evidence under certain circumstances ("certain circumstances" meaning a Conservative is under investigation)---meanwhile, after 3 years with Hunters laptop and God knows how long they have been sitting on a document that apparently proves the current sitting president took a bribe----still ZERO action by the most corrupt DOJ in history.

On the tape Trump allegedly admits that he has a government owned classified document with secret information relating to Iran or was it Iraq I don't remember.

Second he admits that he retained this classified document, which he says is still classified, after he was no longer president.

That will be used in court. Admission that he unlawfully retained classified information knowing it to be such.

....Unless Trump wants to maintain that he was lying the whole time. ....So he either still has the document or he claims he was lying about having the document. ..,....... Then there's the problem with classification and his knowledge of how it works. The apparent admission he can't do brainwave declassifications. Not that this was going to win the day for him anyway LOL
