Got to agree on this one despite wanting to believe Memphis is next in line. Commiss said he wasn't in Memphis. Memphis mayor says he knows nothing about a B12 visit & the university won't comment. Hope I'm wrong, hope Memphis gets an invite soon but if you take recent B12 activities into consideration they want PAC schools because it cost nothing & adds value. They already added 4 G5 schools (or 3 depending on how you see BYU) to compensate for losing UT & OU. The B12 has a new contract that doesn't pay pro-rata for G5 schools - so why would the B12 expands with G5 schools? Despite wanting Memphis to move up, there is no logic to it IMO. NOT for Memphis, not for UConn, not for USF, not any G5s to the B12 with the possible exception of SDSU. And then just to get a PTZ & block the PAC.

Yep---but Calkins also stated that Yorkmark WAS HERE----and he also said that "it's increasingly clear how badly people didn't want that to be out".
