at this point, used to conference flux. Old 3 were fine. New 6 are fine.

Do the Legacy teams look forward to playing a final four team and both of the NIT finalists along with teams they have a rich history with?
Or are we talking football only?
I know as a UAB fan I look forward to playing 3 FBS conference champions this upcoming season. Also the National Champion. I wonder if any team can make that claim this season.

What I wish could have happened, and I say this as a legacy AAC fan, is for Aresco to have just stuck with 8 so we could see Memphis play ECU 4x every year in the triple round robin in MBB (plus the big re-re-rematch in Ft Worth)

That could have further developed the rivalry, and brought ECU’s NET rating up as well.

If the purpose was to expose the insecurity of certain CUSA6 fans, then it succeeded admirably. Their sense of inferiority infuriates to the extent they ignore the courtesy of staying out where they are not invited- namely this poll and thread.
