The same 12 practiced today at 1:30 off campus. The three that practiced that are not listed on the website are:
1. Mekhel Mitchell who transferred from Arkansas
2. Christian Hughes, a freshman from Kirkwood Mo, he is 6’ 2”
3. Pavle Kuzmanovich, from Serbia. He played 3 years at Boise State and is 6’6”

We lost one Serbian from last year to the transfer portal but got another one from the portal and did as good or better with the replacement.

At practice today on Fisher court we had about 6 more fans watching than just me and my wife. Coach doing a lot of defensive work today.
By the way, at last fridays practice we had our first injury of the year. It was to a freshman. Glad it happening early in the year. Still plenty of time to recover.

Went to men’s basketball practice again today. There were several new fans there to watch the practice. The man practice with an international basketball for the first time that I’ve seen. It appears that the men’s basketball team will be going to Italy on the seventh through the 17th. They will be playing three games overseas so they were trying to get used to the international basketball.

The men practiced today at 5:30pm. While I left just as practice started, I was there prior to practice and watch the players shooting drills. Really enjoyed watching Cougar and KK shooting together and both of them sinking so many 3’s.
Tomorrow the men practice at 5:30 and then have Wednesday off.

Men practiced again today at 5:30. Corliss Williamson was there again today as was Ray Tucker. They are off tomorrow and probably start practicing again on Thursday at 1:30

Men practiced again this afternoon. There were several new fans at practice again today and also Corliss was there again. The men played a full court game today which was fun to watch. Coach Walker would stop the game as necessary to give instructions or corrections. If you get a chance, come out and catch a practice. These guys are going to be fun to watch this year.

Pavle and Hughes are still not listed on the roster. RBL are they still practicing with the team?

I haven’t been to a practice since they went to Italy but I know they both went so I feel they are still on the team. No idea why coach hasn’t updated.

Went to Men’s basketball practice again today and to answer a previous question the two asked about were practicing.

There were two new players today, both from Serbia. One of the Serbians was as tall or taller than Mitchell.


Got a lot of individual good players. Now Coach has to decide the best players to put on the floor.

I knew DW and Baker went to Europe late spring and they felt pretty good about a couple of bigs there. Never heard another thing so I forgot about it. I guess it worked out. That should put us at our scholarship limit.

Went to practice today. Coach Baker supervised the practice. All three Serbians appeared to be good shooters. After practice the players did a lot of shooting.
Jamir Chaplin, the transfer from south Florida is an outstanding three point shooter.
Practice on Friday is at 2pm again if you want to come out

Went to basketball practice again today. Coach Baker was running the practice again. Back this summer, one of our freshmen had a foot injury. That was Jalen, Crocker Johnson. He had surgery in July. I talked to him today, and although he is not running up and down the court, practicing with the guys, he has been cleared and is doing other training. He said he would be ready for the first game.

Corliss Williamson was at practice today. I told him that I thought he had a job. He says he does but he was free to come back this week to watch practice.
