Soccer school. Women are MAC regular season champs

Finished with a 2-0 road win at Bradley. Now 18th in the RPI. Should be safely in the NCAAs regardless of what happens in the MVC tournament, but winning it especially with another win over Missouri St. could give them a pretty favorable path/seeding.

You are correct…it was the first round but oddly enough, it was also actually the semifinals. I think we play the #2 seed (Missouri State) in the tourney finals on Friday or Saturday.

So with this win WMU sits at 13th in RPI. Obviously they get the autobid, though they'd have been in the NCAAs either way. Importantly though, that RPI puts them squarely in the conversation for a first round bye, and we should see some tournament play in Kalamazoo as well.

Missouri State by the way lost three games all year and two were to WMU.

Unbelievable and insane.

Big schools getting preference. Same old NCAA garbage.

-WMU RPI 13 gets no seed
-Duke RPI 20 gets 15 seed
-Stanford RPI 19 gets 16 seed
-UCLA RPI 18 gets 13 seed
-Another smaller school Hofstra RPI 8 moves back to 14 seed

Eh, I'm not really that surprised. WMU schedule was frankly not impressive this year. Good news is GB should be a win and then they get a chance to prove themselves against an ACC team.
