Speaking of Muslims and Mosques I remember some years ago in Katy Texas some Muslims built a Mosque next to Pig Farmer. They then complained about the swine and wanted to purchase his land as well. He refused to sell and started having pig races same time of Muslim worship. Apparently Muslims like Jews do not partake of Pork.

As the Pig Farmer said, NOT MY PROBLEM. Everyone I know enjoys my pork products.

They've been at war with the world for 1400 years. This hatred didn't start with 9/11.

From about 1500, when Dias and da Gama found a sea route to India that replaced the caravans to/from Asia, until the 20th century when oil was discovered there, the west had little need for the MidEast and they caused relatively few problems. But as long as they are important, they will be problematic.

And modernizing and westernizing and democratizing them is not the answer, because they don't want that.
