I think I saw Butch Jones crying on the side line. This was embarrassing.

Looks like a solid program to take SMU’s place.

Yep, unfortunately they’ve already accepted the SEC’s offer.

They deliver the Jonesboro market!

Still can't explain what happened against Oklahoma but A-State , which is probably now the youngest team in FBS, has won three straight since beating themselves, as much or more than a good Memphis team did.

Put in a true freshman at QB and their offense has clicked, although not against the same caliber of defense as they faced against Oklahoma and Memphis.

They face a Troy team on the road this weekend that has an outstanding defense that is more in line with Oklahoma and Memphis , so should be a good litmus test for what to expect going forward.

Great to see the 3 in a row. Make it 4 today and who knows -- maybe TX State will get tripped up. Either way, stay on top of the West and the season will be fine.

Pulling for ya the rest of the way.

Record not impressive but they are 4-2 since going with true freshman Jaylen Raynor at QB and should be 5-1. Should have beaten Coastal Carolina.

Their overall youth is still at problem playing older more experienced teams , but they are getting more experienced with every game, and they are talented.

A-State's young team beat a good Texas State team-- there really are no bad teams in the SBC, some are just better than others, 77-31 yesterday to get bowl eligible, with one game left on the road against Marshall. That true freshman QB was the key for them turning it around, and they love Butch in Jonesboro.

We love him being in Jonesboro too. It’s an easy win on the schedule for Memphis

Playing you and Oklahoma right out of the gate made their young teams better down the road IMO.
