I agree, but at the same time I understand why. It might not show on the field yet, but the football program is in a better position that it has been for a long time. It sucks, a lot of people are missing out on the joy of the "rebuild", if you want to call it that.

I appreciate the weekly stats and info you post cubucks.04-cheers

I agree, plenty of talent on the Maryland squad that a lot of fans are missing out on.

Monangai was a beast on Saturday -- Wimsatt had a sweet 30+ yard TD run too. It was really satisfying after so many VT beat-downs during our Big East days.

Tracking injuries this week, and this is a big deal for Nebraska. If you have any updates on your school, please post here.

Rutgers and Maryland carry the day vs the ACC. That is just pathetic. The two schools most Big 10 fans didn't want had to carry the banner vs an inferior conference.

BTW, thanks for the pops on Rutgers going 3-0. We are looking like a 6-6 team this year. I don't want to count chickens before they hatch, but think we look to be Pinstripe Bowl bound.

You're right about Rutgers and Maryland, both dominate in their games.

Rutgers has good fan support too. It's a fun looking stadium when it's full, always hopping!

I hope we get to a truly full stadium (maybe in another year or two). It was somewhere between 40-45K there on Saturday. Distributed tickets were over capacity.

TV Ratings

Virginia vs
Maryland: FS1 - 776K

Northwestern vs.
Duke: ACCN - For whatever reason, unlike the BTN, they don't report ratings.

N. Illinois vs
Nebraska: FS1 - 907k

Penn vs
Illinois: FOX - 3.22M

Minnesota vs
North Carolina: ESPN - 1.58M

Western KY vs
Ohio State: FOX - 2.82M

Washington vs
Michigan State: Peacock - see ACCN above, same thing

Bowling Green vs
Michigan: BTN - 1.32M

Syracuse vs
Purdue: NBC - 1.25M

BTN 3:30 and 7:00 pm games were a combination of 2 games in each time slot. BTN splits them on 2 channels, but only reports one rating for the time slot.

Western Michigan vs
Iowa
Or
Virginia Tech vs
Rutgers: BTN - 720K

Georgia Southern vs
Wisconsin
Or
Louisville vs
Indiana: BTN - 828K

VT podcasters were very impressed with the tail gating scene, the boardwalk and fan support in the stands. They said it was all better than anything they have seen in the ACC for the last several years.
