I waited patiently for a Bulls fan to start this, per the rules. But now we're less than 24 hours away and they have failed in their responsibility as the home team.

So I originally thought that too, but when I got to Tampa I saw the big sign said “#BE AT RICE” so I’m almost back to Houston now. Whaasup?!

Very interesting match with two teams possibly at the crossroads to greatness

Maybe I’m overdramatizing but one of these two could improve by FIVE WINS over last year’s record, but likely not both. Winner has a real shot at that level of success imo.

For 1-2 USF that’d be bowl eligibility
For 2-1 Rice that’d be double digit wins for the first time in a decade and staying in the NY6 convo well into late October, at least.

I refrained 100% from all caps posting last week as a self-imposed cool-off after the Houston win.

also very important to note that both of these two sit just one-half game behind mEmPhIs in the AAC standings.

I feel like both of these teams have a legitimate shot at being in the upper echelon of AAC. This is one of the most interesting games this week in AAC. USF plays really hard for Golesh and other than 2 or 3 plays, completely and totally shut down Alabama last week.

Our defense did thats for certain. I'm worried about our ability to put up points. Going from FCS, to Alabama is quite a crazy swing in opponent capability... This game should reveal much about our offense.

I’ll pick my Owls to win outright, but not to cover the narrow spread: let’s say Rice 21, SoFlo 20.

The Houston Chronicle picked up on this in their game preview. Impressive sacks of the opposing QB statistics for the Bulls, too.

It was a tongue in cheek remark. Seems like UTEP is the one team we beat most regularly.
