Hey guys, checked for a Boise State/Memphis thread, but didn’t see one. Just wanted to see what you guys thought about the upcoming game. Little bit about us, our defense is utterly atrocious, probably the worst it’s ever been except for our linebackers who are young, athletic and aggressive. Our secondary is awful and we don’t have much of a pass rush. But oddly enough, our offensive line which has truly been offensive for nearly the last decade, is actually really really good And we have one of the best running backs in the country in sophomore Ashton Jeanty, who leads the nation in all purpose yards from scrimmage. Our wide receivers other than Eric Mcallister are subpar and probably wouldn’t start for 95% of the teams in the country and people are clamoring for the back ups to get into the game. Our quarterback is a physical clone of Vince Young, but has a funky delivery and is not the most accurate passer and doesn’t process his reads very quickly. He is an athletic freak though, and people want him to run more. Needless to say, our fanbase is not enamored with our third year head coach who is a former player. Seems way in over his head, and too often reverts to coach speak whenever a question is posed to him.

I was going to say the same. What happened to the crowd? I mean it’s Boise State, it should be better than what it shows on TV. Can’t blame this one on UTSA mbb.

Geez, we have to go through this with all newbies. TV shows the visitor side of our stadium. Our stadium seats almost 60K. Most sit on the home side, which you can't see on TV. Especially when it's 90 degrees like today, and the visitor side is in full sun, while the home side is shaded.

We probably have about 30K there.
