I thought your defense played great. But yeah some of your coaching decisions were massive head scratchers. I guess I understand going for a TD on 4th and goal at the 1 in the third quarter was the right call. But why do you continue to use a hurry up offense when it hasn’t worked really the whole game. In a critical situation like that, take your time and make sure you have the best play possible.

That particular ECU call left me shaking my head, too.

I was not too happy with Bloomgren, either. He should have run the ball at the end of the second quarter and not left ECU enough clock for that field goal. The first two plays before the failed field goal were weak. And the unsportsmanlike conduct after the missed field goal was hardly intellectual brutality.

Very happy with the Rice defense overall. And a good second half vibe at HRS. Should have an easier one coming up next week with 0-5 UConn.

Our offense has been inept against FBS teams all year. 3 field goals instead of 3 touchdowns. Defense on the field too much early in the game with not much left to seal up a 4th quarter.





Mike looks defeated and has a WTF glare in his face. In year 5, with only your recruits, you should be better.

I didn’t realize it’s already been 5 years. Bloomgren is in his sixth. Other than Fritz, we are talking about two of the most senior coaches in the conference.

This is the first time Houston has been st the same school for 5 years and it shows

Houston is a frigging flim flam artist. His supposed great recruiting has produced jack shite. I'm well and truly over the guy. Too bad we can't return him to UNCC, sorry but we were mistaken, this guy sucks.
