Uni's are nice....but until we get an offensive line and receivers that don't have 19 drops in the first five games for our passing QB then....Meh!!!

I've been hoping for years that we would eventually do an updated throwback type uniform. These are killer

Didn't like it when we went to the BlackBird unis a few years ago for an October 29 game against UNT, even though most everyone else in our fanbase seemed to love them. My issue was that there was no blue in them whatsoever. My personal opinion is if you're gonna do something like this, at least make sure to work your actual traditional school colors in there somehow. Ours were just black and orange and we looked like we were trying to be Oklahoma State, a team we had played in each of the 3 years prior.

To me, yours look better because they actually still have your school colors in them also.

I get your point. I think all of our black jerseys have been at worst, decent. I'd rank OG Nike Black 1> these #2, G2 Black Nike #3, Adidas G2 #4, then the other Aididas were just plain jane...

Our last two specialty jerseys, this one and last year's Modern Throwback are excellent.

Love the Purple & Gold. Black is pretty well a natural for us being we're the Pirates!

From what I've read, it's not clear whether pirates actually originally used red flags and later started flying black flags, or whether they used both at the same time. At any rate, it is agreed that it was the red one you didn't actually want to see because the red one meant no quarter would be given, whereas the black one meant you'd be spared if you surrendered.

ECU are going to look beautiful. Let's see if they can play that way this year.
