Sans some influx of transfers or unforeseen play by underclassmen, next year Tulane should have some retooling issues next year. So we need to take this one and the CCG this year.

This could be a conference championship game preview. The winner of this game has the track to host the CCG.

Memphis can lose and still control their own destiny because they play SMU. Tulane doesn't play SMU so they don't want to risk a tiebreaker scenario.

For the sake of the conference, it would be better for Tulane to win so they can be in a better position for the NY6 G-5 slot. Forgive me, I do not want Memphis to cooperate.

Every year teams lose upperclassmen. Fritz has had amazing success in the portal and that will continue. This is a must win game, but even if we lose we still have a good shot at making the CCG and 10 wins. Currently we have the highest average rating per recruit in the entire G5 for this recruiting class. Just keep winning
