Let me put my two cents in about your helmets. I. LOVE. THEM.
I just wonder how long before other school copy this. You can brag that you were the first.
Another thing: I saw a guy with Zappe on his uni. Is he related to the NFL Zappe? Your QB is very good, pinpoint accuracy. If he ever gets tired of playing for you guys send him over, we need a QB badly.
.
Trent is Bailey's brother. Best QB ever at WKU, and we've had some good ones in the last decade. Helton's nephew might be the next Brandon Doughty?

My son was at the game and said that is a complete fantasy number. He thought there were less than 10,000 in the stands.
That’s a real shame for two of CUSAs best teams. You
If on a Saturday, we would have had 13k easily in stands..

Congrats on the win
Not sure about our D Line but I do agree Liberty has the best OL in the conference. Chadwell has a knack for calling the right play at the right time and runs out of so many different formations with so many different options.

As impressive and exciting as a successful short pass is, or especially a long bomb throw, a strong rushing attack and dominating OL is more demoralizing to a team when the ball is rammed down your throat when you know it's coming and you still can't stop it

I've been impressed with our O line and rushing game. Too think...one of our best lineman, Schlittler is out for the season before it even started, and one of our star running backs, Vaughn Blue went out several games ago. Just imagine what they would have added to an already strong offense.

As has been said many times, injuries are just part of the game as all teams have so worse than others. The upside is the consistency in the LU running game and the OL blocking and protecting Salter. The lack of pressure from the DL is a reason for concern against better teams. That lack of pressure is enough to effect the outcome of a game

For sure! The pass pressure on the line has been troubling. We did a little better job against WKU. Emphasis on "little" because we still are not getting the penetration we need. Fortunately our Dbacks are playing fairly well when it matters. I think HCJC has mentioned our QB pressure pretty regularly so I'm hoping we are working it out as much as we can with what we have on the line. Linebackers seem to still be a room we need a lot of improvement in.

Fortunately our D Line is almost all underclassmen so we should see a lot of improvement over the next year or two. It would be less encouraging if it were all upperclassmen and we still weren't getting a push up front.
