At the time of the first Blues goal they were saying it was his. Looking at the replays, i have literally zero idea where that came from.

Hopefully he gets his shot. Pure skill player makes it hard to crack in a lot of orgs. I don't necessarily agree with it but sometimes it's looked at as top 6 or bust if you don't play a more grinding game. Age and lack of draft pedigree working against him too.

I don't think people realize how frequently this happens. GM's always gives their draft picks the benifit of the doubt and it's very hard for an undrafted player to leap frog over these guys.

A undrafted forward once told me a story what happened to him early on in his professional hockey career. After finally get his NHL opportunity, he was preforming at a high level, leading scorer on the team over a month of games. Suddenly his ice time got cut way back, with out any explanation. When he finally talk to the HC, he was told that he was outperforming the organization "highly paid" veterans, which is why his ice time was reduced. In other words, his performance was making management look bad. Crazy, right?

Avalanche called up Jason Polin because of injuries. We’ll see if he makes his NHL debut tonight.

All American teams came out. For the first time in like 5 years no bronco is on it. That was a good streak we had which not many schools can claim. We are in the greatest era of bronco hockey. Let’s raise the bar even further.
