NMSU bowl eligible for the second consecutive season. The last time this happened was in 1960. I have to ask: How does it feel?

I know you've won two bowl games since then, the Aggies aren't a regular face in bowl season. Jerry Kill seems to have found the spark that the program needed.

I like that the NMSU thread appeared just hours before the game. I like that 99.99999% of the CUSA focus was on another game. I like that we were picked in the lower half of CUSA. I like that SHSU was thoroughly embarrassed to lose to us. I like that we don’t have an NCAA mandated IPF like every other G5. I like that we have a tuff shed for a press box. Nothing to see here. We will just keep our head down and keep chugging along…

They just need one more win for bowl eligibility. 13 game schedule this year.

Well, I didn't notice that. Not quite there yet.

I'm sure they will. With four games left, I think they're going to win at least one of them.

Skip might have started the process but Sonny Cumbie has destroyed this program.

I watched a good bit of the game, particularly the fourth quarter. I thought Kill was going to have a stroke screaming at the idiots flagged for unsportsmanlike at the end of the game. Love the passion.

Congrats to NMSU on the win. Close game but what can you say, the Aggies are simply the better team right now. I continue to be underwhelmed by the discipline Cumbie teams are showing.

Someone up top mentioned the blue jerseys Tech is wearing. When I was a student at Tech in the 80's Columbia blue was the thing, and derives (I assume) from the Lady Techsters use of the color, which they still wear today. Honestly, for people my age this is the 'real' La Tech color scheme, and just seeing that combination on the field brings back lots of memories. And, I have to say, the traditional red helmets are what work for me. Wish we'd go to this as the full time look, with white shirts and Columbia blue pants on the road.

Tough road ahead for Tech with both Liberty and Jax State looming. Hope to see competitive games in both but we'll see what we get.

Talk your stuff, man. Yall have earned it. Good win last night. I won't be picking against the Aggies the rest of the season... Until the final week.

Congrats Aggies.

We just can't finish. For three years now, we just can't finish a game.

I'm not sure I would want to be Malichi McLean (#2) this week in practice. If I recall correctly, he had 2 personal foul/unsportsmanlike conduct penalties towards the end of the game that could have cost us the game. Coach Kill was HOT!!

GO AGGIES!!!!

Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me. I was going to post something about that. What's with all the jawing from your players? I think it was number 2 and no. 7, right? I'm especially pleased with Kill not letting his stupid players from getting away with it like some coaches do. Our coach would probably pat them on their tail, there's no discipline in our team...at all.

As much as I dislike your school, I'm starting to root for you FB team, I love to watch the Pavia football show every week. I've stated that he's too short for an Nfl QB but he would make a good RB.
