Only sad part is that Memphis and SMU are in the same quadrant and would meet in Elite 8 if both win out. So no all-AAC final four :(

First round is Thursday, SMU as a national 6 seed gets a bye and plays Sunday.

No but seriously, congratulations Charlotte for the big upset.

Former AAC member UCF and current member of the Sun Belt had their best season, finishing just outside the top 10, and held the number one spot for a week (after we went on a two game slide.

Of course Marshall finished the year number one after holding down that position for a very large portion of the season. We'll see what happens in the tournament! I think we got a very deep team so who the hell knows.

Last thing I'll say as Marshall actually has experience playing High Point this year..

Watch out Charlotte, High Point is actually a very good team, they almost beat us at home when we played them this year. We won 2-1, but it was a very competitive game, so they're going to bring it. I do think Charlotte will win, bbut just be aware that is a very dangerous team.

We have roadrunners, quite a few owls, and a mean green eagle. No pheasants that I’m aware of. Happy Thanksgiving though!

Nice, obvious dig " congrats for the big upset". Anyone who knew anything about these teams would know it wasn't a "BIG" upset. Maybe a minor upset, but given our record and history, not to mention our very tight 1-0 loss on that same field just a few weeks before-----certainly not a big surprise that we won.

Hm. Yeah, we're number one in the country bud. Have been for multiple weeks this year.

It's not a dig, as SMU was getting top five rankings and close to a number four overall seed, so yes it was an upset.

Everything doesn't have to be a dig, only when we're making fun of CLT. Not your college, but the man and legend. Which isn't hard.

If you make it to the quarterfinals, you'll have to come to Huntington and play Marshall.

Then your tournament hopes will end.

The Sun Belt is a far superior conference to the AAC in college soccer. It's not even close.

03-lmfao03-lmfao sunbelt teams in the ncaa are Marshall and JMU

You counting Kentucky, UCF, and West Virginia as "Sunbelt" is hilarious. With teams having down years the AAC still sent four schools that are actually AAC teams. If UCF and WV had been invited to play with us, you would literally be Marshall; the delusions of grandeur over there are breath taking. Must be some sort of water contamination.

After this year when the AAC is superior to the Sunbelt in everything just like it has been the last decade I don't want to see another sunbelt scrub on this board, this discussion is just a repetitive "look at us and how good we are" we look and turns out you're just not good.

And from what I've seen of App this year, Charlotte may well have beaten y'all as well. I mean, App struggled to beat USM and ULM which are 2 of the worst looking FBS teams Ive seen this year.
