These things have rapidly destroyed bowl season. It was bad enough that in the last few years some players opted to not play in the bowl game because they were afraid of getting hurt, which would hurt their draft possibilities. Now guys are transferring before bowl season is over.

State is down 20 players to the portal and Payton Wilson sitting out. It's the two deep losses at WR, RB, and OL that hurt most. The fake punt would not have been attempted and one of their 4th downs would have been stopped with Wilson playing. So that's 14 points. But State does not have enough offense left to keep up with KSU's first team.

I promised the wife we would go to the Orange Bowl, but only the OB. Know she knows why. If it's not NY6 the game does not matter. FSU has proven for them that the OB does not matter this year.

Thank God Mack lost last night. Takes all the pressue off. 04-cheers

State has already had to try three FG's in the game - that portends a loss despite just a 2 pt deficit with one quarter to play.

Rutgers beat VT and Miami in the same season. Who would have thought that?

But you knew if it happened, it would be long after the BE FB conference disintegrated.

Rutgers has always been a sleeping giant, sitting on some great CFB recruits. Props to the Big Ten for taking a chance on them.

Bowl TV Update From Sports Media Watch:

Thursday’s Kansas State-NC State Pop-Tarts Bowl, which gained social media notoriety due to its anthropomorphic Pop-Tart mascot, averaged 4.31 million viewers on ESPN — the largest audience of the bowl season thus far. Viewership nonetheless declined 20% from the same bowl in the same window last year (under a different sponsor), a marquee matchup of Florida State and Oklahoma (5.40M).

Fortunately Cuse is starting to mine NJ like it is 1994 again.

PSU, Ruttie, Maryland, Pitt, Cuse and BC

Zero Sum game...only so many NE recruits.

Can the ACC elevate 2 of the 3 to Top 25 status?
