Report: UN May Exile UK From Human Rights Council For Referring To ‘Biological Sex’
Quote:Britain could be frozen out of the UN’s Human Rights Council and other bodies after transgender rights lobby groups complained that the government has suggested changing the law to define sex as “biological sex”.

The Telegraph reports that UK’s Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) now faces a “special review” of it’s international accreditation by UN appointed overseers after harrying by the much maligned LGBTQ+ charity Stonewall, as well as other pro-trans activist groups.

The EHRC advised government ministers that defining sex as “biological sex” would help alleviate controversy over issues such as categories in sports and single sex bathrooms.

That simply couldn’t stand for Stonewall, and the organisation engaged in “targeted action by a group of campaign organisations”, according to the head of the EHRC, Lady Falkner.

In an op-ed, Faulkner noted “Our advice on this complex and divisive issue made clear that the Government should lean towards a biological definition of sex as the fairest way of protecting everyone’s rights.”

She charged that Stonewall and other groups have repeatedly “used the UN accreditation process as a means to undermine our statutory role – which involves a legal duty to advise on the effectiveness of equality laws.”

In correspondence to the UN, Stonewall has claimed that protections for biological sex are “actively harming trans people”.

If the UK’s ‘A status’ at the UN is revoked, it would mean countries like Iraq, Qatar, Colombia, The Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zimbabwe would have more standing on globalist body’s Human Rights Council.

Britain would be able to observe international meetings but not participate and would no longer be able to submit documentation to the UN’s Human Rights Council, the report notes.
