Not a good showing for Liberty. Barely beat a team who lost to Umass.

CUSA is still the island of misfit toys, spread across 3 time zones.

IMO this result clarifies the NY6 picture.

Tulane wins today, they are in, otherwise it is Liberty.

Liberty should be the G5 NY6 rep. Tulane has no better wins than Liberty plus a 17 pt loss.
Liberty has won by double digits in all games except one.
Tulane has four less than double digit wins none against teams with a winning record.

I tend to agree.

It would be more fair.

Judy seemed rather dour handing the trophy to Coach Chadwell last night. She looked like she wanted ot be anywhere else.

Liberty looked rather solid from what I saw of the game. If Tulane stumbles, Liberty could land the NY6 bowl bid.

You don't pay attention, but that is the Temple way. We were healthy against NMSU. We played the rest of season with 2nd and 3rd string secondary and backup or wounded QB the rest of the year.

Congrats to Liberty.

she's always been that way - a bit awkward... but heck, most of the commishes are... I think Kliavkoff did the best 'disappearing act' ever last night after handing off the Udub trophy - seemed like he evaporated or something... 04-bolt

During our stay she seems to be non existence in the public eye. Cant say I disagree much with any of the decisions made by the conference. Of course, she most likely just follows the Presidents orders. The past issues must have been more with the relationship among past members than the leadership. The ones who left seem to be happy and the new members in CUSA seem to be happy so its worked out well. The quality of play in the league is at minimum on par with anyother G5 conference.
