I just got back to my hotel room from Allegiant Stadium, and you are right, that place was rocking. It sold-out and there were a lot of fans that walked up trying to find tickets and no such luck. A crazy environment outside of the stadium with all the things going on along with the Ducks and Huskie fans there. It seemed like a 50-50 split between the two. Those are two great fanbases. I think the Huskie fans will take over the Rose Bowl in the playoff game.
It was a fun game to watch. This Huskie team has a lot of NFL talent and a very good coaching staff. They beat a very good Oregon team that has been the conference bully, except for when they meet the Huskies. This UW team just raises their level to whatever is needed to win a game. First undefeated team since the PAC became the Pac-12 and a 20-game winning streak. Getting Jalen McMillan healthy really helped tonight. He has missed a lot of games this season. McMillan and Rome Odunze are arguably the best pair of wide receivers in the country.

No way are they not in the CFP. You just can't deny a 13-0 conference champ from a P5 conference.
They committee is revoking Washington’s spot and giving it to Oregon because they were favored by Vegas. The committee’s job is to put the 4 best teams in the CFP and the Vegas lines determine who’s better.
"Team X would be favored on a neutral field" has become one of the worst playoff talking points.
This game was an example of why that logic is flawed.

Yeah, I had no rooting interest until Vegas and the pundits started declaring Oregon as some juggernaut and ignoring Washington. This result is the perfect example of why pundits shouldn’t decide things based on “eye tests”. Results have to matter.

Dominant O-line play by the Huskies. Is the coach an NFL candidate? Very pro-style offense they run. They look better than any Peterson team.

I'm glad you were able to be there for that.

Good call, another nail biter for Washington. They deserve a top 2 seed after that performance this season, perhaps even the #1 seed (depending on what happens in Georgia-Alabama ofc).
2 or 3 really doesn’t matter at this point if Georgia and Michigan take care of business. Georgia takes Atlanta and Michigan/UW Pasadena
Washington will have better wins and a tougher schedule than Michigan, there is a very strong case to rank them ahead of the Fightin' Stallions and their peepers.
edit: ah, I see what you mean. Yeah, 2/3, doesn't matter anyway.

Hoping for a UGa upset so that UM and UW can go 1/2 and they don’t have to shoe-horn a PAC/B1G RB. UTvsUW RB and BamavsUM Sugar would be better, although not very fair to the Wolverines.

Thank you bud, I was going no matter what because my buddies and I decided we needed to say good bye to the PAC. It just worked out for us that our Dawgs made it to the game and won.

Yes sir, that is the entire reason I was there. To say good bye to the conference. Sad yet satisfying night.

No, that was the final game. With OSU and WSU hanging onto the Pac-12 name, but there won't be any CCG for the next two years, nor any CFP access (but OSU and WSU are likely to get their team shares). This essentially discontinues the CCG. Three years down the road the naming rights may well be transferred to the MWC. But it will be the Mountain West with a new name, not the Pac-12.
You have to understand the money in the Pac-12 is extremely front loaded for 2024-25 and 2025-26, the very two years OSU and WSU want to stay independent with the zombie Pac-12. But there is not much value left after that, and very large financial penalty for any poaching of the MWC, it doesn't make any sense for MWC schools to change conferences and lose their own continuity. It makes far more sense for OSU and WSU --assuming neither manages a P4 invite-- to join the MWC at this point. Any name change would be on the MWC, and continuity would be the MWC, not the Pac-12.
This was thus the last Pac-12 football game.
