RE: Game Thread: ACC title game ... FSU vs Louisville
One thing that annoyed us watching the game, and has annoyed me more over the last few years, is how players avoid contact. Louisville missed two key first downs in the 2nd half (at least one was 4th quarter) because on 1st or 2nd down the runner ran out of bounds instead of moving forward and getting the first down. Then they failed to convert on 3rd down.

You think they're going to leave Alabama out? No.

Do you want to tell Florida State or do you want me to do it???

It's that classic argument: Most deserving teams vs. best teams.

And here is my problem with the college football “playoff” in a nutshell. It’s never been a playoff regardless how many times they tout it as such. It’s an Invitational where on the field results are often ignored. Can anyone imagine a world where the NFL would award a team that finished second in their division a playoff spot over a team ahead of them because of some BS eyeball test? College football is their own worst enemy, all just to keep funneling money to certain teams and conferences.

That one possession was so frustrating where Louisville got going but had one like that and also lost footing on 2-3 plays. Should have been a TD drive instead of setting for a FG.

13-0 and ACC champions

04-cheers

04-cheers right on, Noles! DEFINITELY my team in the playoffs!

...well, dang. On the bright side, with this 'prodding', FSU will MOST likely be in the B1G in a few years (if you want that), and I'm hoping (and wouldn't be surprised) that Bama wins the natty, then Sa-Bear announces his retirement... let's just get to 2024! 04-cheers
