Jax State has it's first All-American football player this year at the FBS level. The Walter Camp All-American team was just announced and Clay Webb was named second team offensive lineman. He was a five star recruit out of high school.

I did not see any other players from CUSA so this is an honor for the conference, Jax State and Clay Webb.

How does a player receive multiple NATIONAL recognitions, including AP 2nd team All-Americian, and yet……is ONLY named to the second team by his own conference?
