I'd flip a coin, but thinking about it, I think it'd probably be nice if a PAC school gets one last hurrah.

So Washington.

RE: 2023 Football Pick Contest - Bowls/CFP
I'd definitely pick Michigan. Washington has a very strong O, but their D isn't all that good for a Top 10 team. SO many of their games were close. Michigan has a dominant D, and a very strong O that's comparable to Washington.

Michigan's mentality to win it all with all the stuff that's been going on, is directly on-point. Easy pick: Michigan

Articles are all about how this game could be close, so intriguing -- of course, though. What ELSE are they supposed to say about a national championship game? They're going to want to make it more exciting if it statistically lacks excitement. Understandable.

Time to wrap up the 2023 Football Pick Contest season.

andybible1995 and toddjnsn were the only two to correctly pick Michigan to win the National Championship.

For the Bowls/CFP contest, we end up with a four way tie between andybible1995, Buckminster Fuller, SouthEastAlaska, and GoldenWarrior11 with 7 correct picks so all four of you will get 2 rec points. There will be no second place prize.

Finally, for our season contest, Buckminster Fuller and SouthEastAlaska tied for second place with 105 points for the season and will both receive 2 rec points and andybible1995 is your 2003 Schmolik Pick Contest season champion with 107 points and will receive 3 rec points! Congratulations to andybible1995 (First year playing) and thank you to all who played this season, I had the most entries this year in my third year running it!

The Basketball Pick Contest is officially open! Otherwise see you in the fall!
