I know Mack stated several weeks ago he'd be back in 2024. I'm still not convinced.....

The last time UNC beat a P5 opponent in a bowl game was 2010, when they edged out Tennessee 30-27 in the Music City Bowl. Since then UNC has lost bowl games to Missouri, Rutgers, Baylor, Stanford, Texas A&M, S. Carolina, and Oregon... and about to lose to WVU.

Great coach and a true gentleman. If this it for him it’s a shame this was his last game. Very uninspired effort by the Tar Heels.

He just looks like a man who knows he's finally lost the race against time/evolution. Similar to Boeheim last year at Syracuse. It became painful to watch him. His team wasn't "bad" yet he had no answers anymore to elevate the program to Top 25 status....

Crazy that these two state flagships had only played twice before.

Great game by WVU. Tough little QB they have up there.

I liked what I saw out of the young Tar Heels as well

He looked like a man that did not want to get mayo dumped on him.

Mack has revitalized the program. This season has been a disappointment, but he's been way more in-tune than Boeheim. He is guiding the program into the new era.

I strongly hope Mack returns. He's done a very good job with the Carolina program.

Mack > Fedora. That said, he's pushing 73. How much gas is left in the tank? I respect Mack as a head coach but UNC would do itself a favor to have a sit down and come to a succession plan/understanding with him. I don't know his remaining contract terms so I realize that factors in also.

I can see it going both ways depending on how badly they want him out, but I actually don't think UNC wants to oust him. I can see Mack retiring soon. It's pretty clear that UNC is his final stop, and I don't think the university has to do that anyway with his age factored in.

I think mayonnaise is one of the most disgusting things ever. But I think Duke's is very creative about how they market their product during a second-tier bowl game that doesn't have much else going for it.

May as well have some fun with it.
