Bulls take their 1st lead at the 11:18 mark, 16-17. Without Fiedler on the court, Owls offense is a mess.

Couple of Owl turnovers close it to 62-55.

Just tuned in. Saw a couple of useless Owls possessions. Lead isn't safe with such laxness. Will it improve?

Au contraire mon frere

Owls led most of the way but lost the lead at 2:03 left.

This one’s not over but 71-74 in the last minute and we’re fouling to get them to the line

Rice scored next to make it 18-17.
Bulls took their second lead at 68-70 with 2:03 left.

And the Bulls are making the FT so 71-78 :21 ticks left

Caught the game on ESPNU. First time I’ve watched this team in a while. Really disappointing loss. They just collapsed as soon as USF found some life.

RE: MBB VS USF
Owls out shot and out rebounded USF, but 28 USF points off of 18 Owl turnovers along with a nearly 7 minute scoreless drought from the field, lead to another disappointing, but typical, loss - 73-81.

73-79 Rice timeout with :07

I’m not sure I have a play for this situation.

Recommend to try this:
Steal the inbound pass to the open guy for a 3Pt.
If you can do that in 3 seconds then run it again and you’re in OT

RE: MBB VS USF
Rice's stagnant offense did them in once again despite having one of their better shooting days. Having said that, the refs did them no favors. USF players, particularly their center, was flopping and over-exaggerating the contact on every drive to the basket. Conversely, many of USF's forced turnovers down the stretch could have been called fouls, but weren't. There was definitely some favorable home calls in play there.

Just stick a fork in all 3 of the major men’s programs for attracting any new interest and more importantly retaining any current and past interest.

Don't worry, Tiki, Tommy has lots of plans to hire great coaches to turn all three programs around; he just hasn't told anyone yet! Or he could be Karlgaard without the "PhD". Who knows!

Good idea. Let’s talk about the refs and not the fact that the team stinks.

Ok.

I’m glad our guys have improved to the point where we *could* gripe about the refs making a difference in any game.

That’s a measurable improvement from the OOC in Nov/Dec

According to Pomeroy, Rice would be the 7th team in the Ivy League.
