After a nice win over Ap St on Saturday the Dukes head out to Atlanta for a game against the Panthers of Ga St. They are currently 11-8 overall and 5-4 in Conference after a loss on Saturday to ODU in Norfolk. The Dukes had a tough time at Ga St last year where they lost 3 out of 4 games on their 4 game away road trip (wife and I were at the 3 losses so I blame us). Looking for the Dukes to come out hitting on all cylinders as they did on Saturday. Hopefully Jamia and Ashanti will be better and ready to go and no one else comes does with the bug that seems to be running around. Not expecting Makaya to be ready as I think she is still in concussion protocol. Hope she gets back soon.

I know in the NFL concussion protocol is at least 10 days. It may be the same in the NCAA, or it may just be until Mikaya feels better. Jamia and Ashanti should be good to go, and hopefully nobody else has caught "the bug", but you never know with that stuff. Hopefully everyone is fired up and ready to go!

There is no set time-frame for return to participation for concussions for the NFL. They use a 5 step "Return to Participation" protocol instead.

Georgia State is up by one 19-18 at end of Q1. JMU is being more than a little sloppy. Peyton is on fire - hope she can keep scoring like she is.

Back and forth first quarter so far. A couple of bad sloppy passes by the Dukes but only down by 1 at 19-18 heading to the second quarter. Peyton with a couple of 3's already, looks like she has her shot back.
